We’re anxious about our future, we crave approval, and we long for peace and security. Spend a little time googling for answers and you’re bound to find multiple solutions to satisfy your needs and reassure your troubled heart. But really? Do worldly fixes last? Maybe for a short time but not for eternity. Jesus is the only solution for that kind of angst. Only He gives our life meaning, only He quenches the thirst deep in our soul. Join us for a fresh infusing of the Living Water. With an inductive study method, we’ll look at the stories involving Jesus and how He taught His truth with water, beside water and even on top of water.
“Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:13-14
SaveOne is a guide to emotional healing after abortion and offers hope and healing to those who are struggling with the effects of a past abortion. You will learn how to overcome depression, anger, shame, guilt, and unforgiveness toward others and yourself. This 11-week, biblically-based class is held in a small group setting. Our passion is to help you restore your peace of mind and self worth as you experience how far God’s grace truly extends. Confidentiality is assured.

Women and men are invited to SIMPLY PRAYER, a time of worship-based intercession. Drop in to the Prayer Room (M302A) every Wednesday from 9-10 am to pray with others who have a passion for prayer. The PRE-SERVICE PRAYER TEAM meets for pre-service prayer for our pastors and Sunday services. They meet in the Prayer Room (M302A) at 8 am on Sundays. At 8:45 am they gather in front of the Green Room doors to pray specifically for the Pastor who is teaching during the service.
Love in Action provides “911” assistance to those in need. This may be fixing and delivering a meal following the birth of a baby, during times of illness, or after a death in the family. It may be caring for a child or helping with housecleaning or yard work, home or car repair, or providing transportation to a doctor’s appointment. This is usually done on a one-time, short-notice basis.
We would love to have you join us in loving God by serving members of His body, people in our community, and those beyond our borders. Call the church offices for a complete list of needs, or visit morningstarchurch.com.
