1 & 2 Thessalonians
by Beth Moore

Join us in this nine-session study as we learn how to let go of past mistakes and discover that your circumstances are not coincidental – God’s timing is impeccable! You are exactly where Christ wants you to be!

Preparing for the Journey
Triple A Bible Study Method
We find ourselves living in a world where the mantra is “me” and the justification is “self.” Such a contrast to the style by which we as Christians choose to live – “for Him” and “by Him” (Romans 11:36).
As King Solomon states “there is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9). We should not then be surprised by the daily opposition we encounter as we attempt to live out our faith. The underlining theme of “the righteousness of God” in Paul’s letter to the Romans remains an essential message to us today. What we believe helps to determine how we live. We must prepare daily.
Build on your knowledge of God, His love, His power, and His grace as you study the book of Romans. You will use the simple tools of asking, analyzing and applying God’s word to your life. Prepare daily to be transformed.

So You Won’t Be Deceived About His Coming
Precepts Upon Precepts
The Thessalonians were interested in “the Day of the Lord” just as we are today. But they were confused until they received this letter from Paul. Include this book in your study of prophecy to fully understand what God says about the last days.
Precept Upon Precept classes are in-depth, inductive studies that help you dig into God’s Word. Enjoy personal study, in-class discussion, and inspiring video teaching.

Women and men are invited to SIMPLY PRAYER, a time of worship-based intercession. Drop in to the Prayer Room (M302A) every Wednesday from 9-10 am to pray with others who have a passion for prayer. The PRE-SERVICE PRAYER TEAM meets for pre-service prayer for our pastors and Sunday services. They meet in the Prayer Room (M302A) at 8 am on Sundays. At 8:45 am they gather in front of the Green Room doors to pray specifically for the Pastor who is teaching during the service.
Love in Action provides “911” assistance to those in need. This may be fixing and delivering a meal following the birth of a baby, during times of illness, or after a death in the family. It may be caring for a child or helping with housecleaning or yard work, home or car repair, or providing transportation to a doctor’s appointment. This is usually done on a one-time, short-notice basis.
We would love to have you join us in loving God by serving members of His body, people in our community, and those beyond our borders. Call the church offices for a complete list of needs, or visit morningstarchurch.com.
